I love how they mixed up the rugs and all of the patterns in one large space.

Did you notice the different shades of blue? YES, you can mix it up!

A nautical feel without it being overwhelming. TRUE DESIGN!

Traditional elements with modern details! FABULOUS!

I love the patriotic touches in this room with rustic and traditional pieces.
Did you see the DOG collection?
Remember, one of my design rules, a little touch of whimsy in every room!

Simplify bold patterned wallpaper with simple yet strong accessories!
I have a mirror like the one above but bigger and in white.

Eco Friendly Flooring Ideas

Have you thought about eco-friendly flooring? Not sure it has the style you want?

Today I will showcase several flooring options to change your mind.

Manufacturers have so many fabulous styles in almost every type of flooring that is earth friendly.

They can be made of recycled materials, low chemicals, sustainable materials and so much more.

But all with style!

Below I show you how beautiful they look in the rooms and then offer many great resources too.

So, check out these amazing flooring ideas and let me know your favorite.

One of the best flooring choices is bamboo. This material is super sustainable and easy to care for too! Great for kitchens.

Simple Floors Premium Green Bamboo- $2.92/sq ft.

I love the look of mixing up the colors in tiles.
This gives an old world feeling to your space.
Just chose your main color and then add in some accent tiles for extra style.

Eco Friendly Flooring Tiles- $70/sq ft

Didn't think you could have soft eco-friendly flooring?
Here you go. Wall to wall carpet can be environmental friendly by using low odor chemicals which help with allergies. You can even get eco-friendly padding for underneath. And they come in commercial grade for businesses too.

Shaw Floors Sweet Feeling Carpeting- $6.50-7.50/sq ft

Don't forget about area rugs. They can also be environmentally friendly. Like this one from Shaw's EverTouch® recyclable nylon. Stylish and eco-conscious too!

Shaw Floors Painted Palms Area Rugs
They offer many different styles and colors. Prices Vary.

You might have known that cork flooring is very soft underfoot but did you know that it is also anti-microbial? And it is also the most sustainable and non- toxic.
I would say that is a healthy flooring choice!

Green Floors Cork Tiles- $4.50/sq ft

This fiberglass flooring is by Sobella. It is soft and comfortable underfoot, beautiful, durable, and low-maintenance.
What more could you ask for from an eco-friendly floor?
