Holiday Wreath Ideas

Wreaths add such a welcoming touch to your entry way. It is a way to greet guests and add a sense of style to your home at the same time.  You can adorn your door with a simple traditional green wreath, adds loads of ornaments to add flair, or try something new in a shape. Below are several of my favorite picks.

Load up your wreath with silver stars and snowflakes.
Add a few sprigs of silver sprays and you have a sparkle to greet anyone.

The star shaped wreath is as simple as adding a single bow,
a fabulous gold star in the center and hung on the door. Simple yet elegant!

If a natural wreath is more your taste, then the next two have two different looks. The one on the left is fashioned with pinecones galore. By adding in a few red berry sprigs, extra greens and a little natural twigs, this wreath is one that can hang on your doorway for years to come. Make sure you clean and use a spray protectant on the pinecones before crafting it.

Red berries and two types of greens set this show stopping wreath apart from others. The dramatic color is one that you can keep hanging even after the holidays (think Valentine's Day).

This natural cut wreath is jazzed up with gold holly leaves, red berry picks (from your craft store)
and simple curls of ribbon. Very simple and so pretty.

I LOVE this wreath. It steps out of the box by using black and white gingham ribbon. Bay leaves, white branches and white berries keep it fresh and classic.

How stunning is this wreath? All you need is a couple dozen of the same color ornaments to get this look. Remember to vary the sizes for the best design.

I love this time of year when you can get truly creative. This wreath really shows off all the fun colors you can use during the holiday season. Notice the little 3-D star ornaments tucked inside the balls.

So, let me know which is your favorite wreath and keep watching...more holiday ideas to come!

  1. Hey Christa, I love all the wreaths. How do you attach the balls on the 2 bottom pictures?

    Thanks for the ideas!
